Ford PH Trims Everest, Ranger Variants; Adjusts Prices This September

Ford Philippines is rationalizing its Ranger and Everest range starting this September. This month, both models has had at least one variant removed each; they also have slight price adjustments as well.

Starting with the Everest 7-seater mid-sized SUV, Ford Philippines has discontinued the Everest Wildtrak 4x2 trim. Although it never received a formal introduction, it was offered as a limited run model which has now all sold out. This means that starting this September, there are now just four Everest variants. The remaining variants have also seen a rise in prices too:
  • Everest 2.0 Turbo Trend 4x2 – P 1,829,000 (from P 1,799,000)
  • Everest 2.0 Turbo Sport 4x2 – P 2,139,000 (from P 2,109,000)
  • Everest 2.0 Turbo Titanium+ 4x2 – P 2,259,000 (from P 2,209,000)
  • Everest 2.0 Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4x4 – P 2,555,000 (from P 2,525,000)
Meanwhile, for the Ranger, Ford Philippines has decided to cut the entry-level 4x2 model—the Ranger XLS 4x2 in both manual and automatic guises. This drops the available Ranger variants from nine to seven.

For would-be pickup truck buyers, the discontinuation of the XLS means the most affordable 4x2 variant is now the XLT.

As for the price, this is how they look like now:
  • Ranger 2.0 Turbo XL 4x4 – P 1,259,000 (from P 1,249,000)
  • Ranger 2.0 Turbo XLT 4x2 – P 1,389,000 (from P 1,379,000)
  • Ranger 2.0 Turbo Sport 4x2 – P 1,504,000 (from P 1,494,000)
  • Ranger 2.0 Turbo Sport 4x4 – P 1,624,000 (from P 1,614,000)
  • Ranger 2.0 Turbo Wildtrak 4x2 – P 1,614,000 (from P 1,604,000)
  • Ranger 2.0 Bi-Turbo Wildtrak 4x4 – P 1,940,000 (from P 1,910,000)
  • Ranger 2.0 Bi-Turbo Raptor AWD – P 2,345,000 (from P 2,339,000)

    1. Thanks for pointing that out, but the Limited variant was discontinued even earlier.

  2. Everest Limited 4X2 variant is worthless anyway
XLS and XL 4X2 of the Ranger are gone.
