Attention Lexus NX owners: you need to have your Lexus Safety Sense (LSS)’s front recognition camera re-programmed.
Lexus Philippines has just announced that a total of 133 Lexus NX luxury compact SUVs produced from November 15, 2021 to February 27, 2023 are subject to a Customer Satisfaction Campaign to re-program or replace the Forward Recognition Camera.
The Forward Recognition Camera is an integral part of the LSS+ 3.0 and is used for driver assistance features such as the Pre-Collision System or PCS.
In the affected units, the camera software may cause a memory failure when the ignition is turned off, leading to the PCS not activating on the next ignition start. This results in warning lights, audible chimes, and messages on the instrument panel.
Toyota Motor Philippines says that affected owners will get an Official Notification Letter.
To solve the issue, Lexus Manila or a Lexus Accredited Toyota Dealers nationwide will re-program the Forward Recognition Camera. In the worst case, a replacement will be done.
The remedy will be performed at no charge to vehicle owners.

Involved customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment to perform the necessary reprogramming of the Forward Recognition Camera and prevent problems from occurring.
Its a RECALL for the Lexus NX
