Mazda Revives Zoom-Zoom Tagline For 2024

One of the most celebrated automotive taglines ever created is about to make a comeback for 2024, as Mazda Australia releases a new spin on its iconic Zoom-Zoom brand mantra.

Headlining the rollout is an all-new brand film (see video below) that captures the essence of the original advert of 2000, and re-establishes Zoom-Zoom for the new era, evoking the universal ‘Joy of Motion’ that Mazda has often generated with their cars.

Reviving the signature ‘Zoom-Zoom’ whisper, the 30 second film references the simple happiness delivered by the emotion of motion, the excitement of youthful independence and the purity of family connection.

A wider interactive campaign that introduces immersive out-of-home, at home and social activations will also encourage Australians to actively experience Zoom-Zoom in their own way as part of the launch.

First established by the Mazda globally in 2004, Zoom-Zoom clearly communicated the ‘emotion of motion’ first experienced as a child. It underlined the driver-focused DNA that was a core characteristic common to the models Mazda was introducing in the era, from the Mazda6, Mazda3 and Mazda2 as well as the RX-8 and MX-5.

Now, Zoom-Zoom aligns with the brand’s aim to enrich life in motion, and is a call to participate and to take back the pure emotion of driving.

Zoom-Zoom is now live across multiple platforms including TV, digital, OOH and at Mazda dealerships across Australia.

No word if Mazda has plans to roll out this Zoom-Zoom revival to other markets.

  1. And just like that, it's like they completely forgot about their CX9 burning down on the road.

  2. I remember my 05 mazda3 R with the zoom zoom monicker.
Quite memorable i would say. Mazda should have kept the zoom zoom tagline, it could have boost their sales ..

  3. Put that inline 6 engine in the Mazda 3 or MX-5 already. Having a hard choice deciding between the Lexus IS350 & MX5. Main con with the MX-5 is the weaker engine as to the IS-350's V6 which sounds surreal.
