BMW officially starts the Northern Leg of its Philippine Loop adventure. After successfully conquering two out of eight checkpoints and completing all six RoRo points in the Southern leg, the BMW team is now ready to tackle the remaining challenges of the archipelago.
This next phase will be entirely land-based pushing the BMW vehicles as they traverse the diverse landscapes of Northern Luzon. The North Loop will cover a total of six checkpoints: Subic, Zambales; Alaminos, Pangasinan; Atok, Benguet; Laoag, Ilocos Norte; Aparri, Cagayan Province; and Baler, Aurora Province.
The team will be utilizing a fleet of four BMW vehicles for this leg: one BMW 318i Touring, two BMW X3 xDrive20d Business, and one BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport. The line-up represents the versatility and capability of BMW’s model range.
Among the participants in this leg are CarGuide.PH’s very own Luis Aguilar and Anton Eudela.
