The 2025 Ford Everest Tremor Is The Ultimate Family Adventure SUV

When the entire family’s got an appetite for off-road adventure, Ford has just the thing: the Everest Tremor.

Not to be confused with a Raptor, which is meant to jump over sand dunes at high speeds, the Everest Tremor is all about off-road or trail dominance. It’s like the Ranger Tremor, or in local parlance, the Ranger FX4 Max.

Like the Ranger Tremor and even the Bronco Outer Banks, the Everest Tremor has Bilstein position-sensitive dampers. Together with new springs and General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires, ground clearance has been bumped up by 26 mm over the standard Everest. Tying everything together, it’s got a unique Rock Crawl Drive Mode (the only one in the Everest range) that optimizes traction and momentum on loose, rocky surfaces.

Outside, the Everest Tremor wears a distinctive honeycomb grille design with auxiliary LED lamps, a steel bash plate, heavy-duty side steps, and of course, Tremor badging. Inside, there are additional Tremor embossment to the leather seats, ebony-colored interior accents, and all-weather floor mats.

For the Australian market where it was just introduced, it comes hand-in-hand with the 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel engine. Here, it has 250 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. This makes any landscape or haul a piece of cake.

Ford says the Everest Tremor will start its customer deliveries Down Under by November. No word if it’ll be offered outside Australia at this time.
