Toyota Motor PH Is Giving Carlos Yulo A Brand-New Land Cruiser Prado

After getting, among others, a three-bedroom unit valued at P 35-million, two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo now has a ride to match. Toyota Motor Philippines is gifting Yulo with a brand-new Land Cruiser Prado valued at P 4.8-million (check out the full specs here). The announcement was made on Toyota Motor Philippines’ social media pages.

Yulo, who just came home from the 2024 Olympics in Paris, won back-to-back gold medals for the Men’s Floor Exercise and Men’s Vault. It is considered as the largest victory ever by a Filipino athlete since the Philippines joined the Olympic games a century ago.

Yulo is also a part of Toyota’s own “Start Your Impossible” campaign—a first-ever global corporate initiative of the carmaker. The global campaign showcases the power of local communities across the world rallying behind their athletes and emphasizes Toyota’s belief that no journey is taken alone. He is among the 11 recognized by Toyota in the Asia region.

The 2024 Land Cruiser Prado definitely has the power to match Yulo thanks to its 2.4-liter turbo making 281 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. It comes with an 8-speed automatic and the surefootedness of a 4x4 system with locking differentials and five selectable drive modes.

It also comes with features to match Yulo’s newfound stature such as 20-inch alloy wheels with 265/60R20 tires, Adaptive Variable Suspension or AVS, a moonroof, power tailgate, ventilated seats across all three rows, 12.3-inch display audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10-speaker system, rear-seat entertainment system, 360-degree camera, and the most up-to-date version of Toyota Safety Sense: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.

N if c yulo pa magbayad 6% ok lang yan, epagbili nya later may profit pa cya. Or after 10 years epagbili nya kay boss toyo mataas ang market value kc nga golden boy yulo ang may ari.

    2. With your mindset, you might as well not bother trying to increase your current income so you don't have to pay more in taxes too.

Also, afaik the gifts/prizes he received are all tax-exempted.

    1. Matalino yata ang toyota. Tiyak meron yan clause sa kontrata na hindi pwedeng ibenta for certain a no. of yrs. Pero baka naman free service yan. Ang kelangan na lang ni caloy ay sponsor na gas station para kumpleto na.
