please not another "black edition". 2025 Outlander perhaps
ReplyDeleteXPander HEV siguro iyan
ReplyDeleteIf it has wheels and an engine, then it is not unexpected. So the bar here is set at the very least a unicycle or a boat.
ReplyDeleteBest comment.
DeleteOne of its sister companies makes boats, so it may not be that unlikely. Maybe a plane, like a HondaJet? Oh, wait, aside from the fact that planes have wheels, another one of its sister companies makes planes. Maybe an escalator, elevator, aircon, financial product, condo, or even a pen? Oh, wait, never mind... No Mitsubishi product would ever surprise me.
DeleteCould also be the Outlander PHEV based on their product timeline... right on time for the updated model
ReplyDeleteA Lancer or Galant, perhaps? Seriously my bet is on the Sakura small EV twin whose name eludes me at the moment.
ReplyDeleteHmmm? Something unexpected? A limited edition mirage maybe. Only in the Philippines where Mitsubishi can sell thousands of ancient and unsafe mirage. Even poorer countries doesn't even dare touch this car. No wonder we are the number 1 market for Mitsubishi. This is unexpected.
ReplyDeletekinda no brainer na na expected yung Xpander HEV, so I'm guessing the Outlander, probably still in PHEV guise
ReplyDeleteRelax guys, the "something unexpected" is not an a new type of car (i.e. EV) nor a new model to an existing one (black ed.). The author already provided the details at the third stanza lol: "Visitors to the Mitsubishi Motors Philippines’ booth will be treated to an immersive experience and opportunity to explore the brand's full range of vehicles, offering something for every type of driver. The highlight will be its newest models, the Xforce and Triton, which were launched this year."
ReplyDeleteIf Outlander PHEV, I wonder if they can bring the updated version that will be launched in Japan on October with better interior and speakers, bigger battery pack, etc. Hopefully hindi tayo gawing dumping ground ng mga old unit.
ReplyDeleteIt could be a concept version of a new vehicle, like probably next gen Montero/Pajero Sport, like how Mitsubishi teased the Xforce with the XFC concept and the Triton with the XRT concept. Considering the Philippines is the 2nd biggest market for the Montero Sport (after Indonesia), this is a possibility. Overall very unlikely, but if it was something really unexpected this could be it.
ReplyDeleteNew Outlander PHEV Touring variant and Xpander HEV (RHD version likely).
ReplyDeleteMy bet is either BINI will perform or Quiboloy shows up.
ReplyDeleteYou a funny man huh?
DeleteProbably outlander PHEV. But enthusiasts already knew that. So given the recent xforce concept displayed couple of years ago, it could also be a concept model for the next gen montero since test mules been circlulating recently.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a ralliart sticker edition of the xpander similar to what they did with the strada before. Or better an all new ralluart l300 fb
