In a bid to win back customer trust and confidence, Motor Image Pilipinas, the sole distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country, is now offering a free Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) package as standard across their line-up.
Once a promotion limited to select models, now, all Subaru vehicles purchased starting this September are covered. They now come with two years of free PMS (five years for the Evoltis). This covers a total of four PMS visits at six-month or 10,000-kilometer intervals, whichever comes first (10 PMS visits for Evoltis).
The free PMS, now inclusive of the vehicle’s Suggested Retail Price, covers all lubricants, parts, and material replacement in accordance with their prescribed replacement interval. These include things such as the replacement of engine oil and oil filter as well as the cleaning of the aircon and air filter, and rotation of tires.
All purchases of the Crosstrek, Forester, BRZ, WRX, and Outback made at authorized Subaru dealerships get two years of free PMS, while the 7-seater Evoltis gets five years’ worth of free PMS.
From what I saw and read hindi ba purchased until end of the month lang ang may free PMS?
ReplyDeleteWe are also clarifying that. From what we've been told, the free PMS is permanent. But yes, one dealer did post that it's only until September 30.
DeleteConfirmed. It's a PERMANENT thing. Seems that single dealer wanted to add a sense of urgency to would-be buyers hahaha.
DeleteSubaru needs to do this so they could compete with the more affordable automakers. Subaru is losing ground.
ReplyDeleteGiven the financial problems of their mother company and a 33% drop in local sales, perhaps there should even be more value other than free PMS? In a price war, price will always be the main barometer. But at least the free PMS can cover the engine problems at least for 2 years for most models.
ReplyDeleteIts a marketing gimmick.
ReplyDeleteNo free dinner here. The 5 year free pms cost is actually bundled and added on already in the price of the car.
