VinFast Philippines has just confirmed: the VF 3 all-electric sub-compact SUV is coming and its price will be “less than P 800,000.”
Measuring in at 3,190 mm x 1,679 mm x 1,622 mm (wheelbase of 2,075 mm), the VF 3 is sized for the city life. While its 191 mm ground clearance makes it more capable of handling potholes and speed bumps. Yet, the three-door SUV seats four and with its 40 horsepower / 110 Nm motor output, it can climb most hills and slopes with ease.
Compared to its other vehicles, VinFast is positioning the VF 3 as a lifestyle vehicle appealing to those looking for functionality and self-expression. The car comes in nine exterior paint options—four standard and five premium colors—allowing owners to personalize their vehicle.
Apart from its low sticker price, with VinFast’s battery subscription program, the VF 3 promises to have minimal running cost compared to a typical gas-powered car.
Last month, VinFast began delivering the first batch of VF 3 vehicles to customers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, ahead of schedule. By the end of 2024, VinFast aims to deliver at least 20,000 units of the VF 3 globally.
