Chevrolet, now exclusively distributed by Hariphil Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), brings back a Filipino family favorite nameplate in the all-new 2025 Captiva. Giving true meaning to the word, “crossover,” the Captiva brings together the best elements of an MPV and an SUV with a price that starts at just P 1,258,000.
The reimagined Captiva offers a standout design that’s all about sporty elegance. Available in four colors—Summit White, Platinum Gray, Persian Red, and Black, the standout design marries the sporty aesthetics of an SUV with the spacious comfort of an MPV. The 7-seater crossover comes with features such as LED projector headlights and daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.
The looks are backed up by performance courtesy of a turbocharged engine that balances power and efficiency. The turbocharged 1.5-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine produces a total of 150 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. This is connected to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) driving the front wheels.
This powertrain combination makes it ideal to provide performance to families seeking big adventures. And whether it’s a family outing or a road trip, the Captiva offers a spacious interior with true 7-seater capability. The seats offer unparalleled flexibility with the second-row folding down in a 60/40 split, while the third row does the same in a 50/50 split. With all seats upright, it can accommodate 117 liters of cargo. Drop the third-row down and it grows to a leading 666 liters. Drop both the second and third rows, and the 1,709-liter hold allows families to accommodate just about any cargo effortlessly.
Beyond space, the Captiva’s interior is all about comfort and ease-of-use. Features include a 7-inch LED multi-color driver’s display, push-button engine ignition, leather seating with powered driver’s seat, electronic parking brake with auto hold, and automatic climate control. Advanced connectivity is seamlessly integrated with its 10.4-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built-in.
Safety meets sophistication in the all-new Captiva as it comes with 6 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, speed-sensing door locks, rain-sensing wipers, tire pressure monitoring, and a 360-degree panoramic camera with parking sensors at the front and back.

ReplyDeleteThe craptiva, back from the dead! It's a zombie!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso known as the MG Hector, Baojun 530, and Wuling Almaz.
ReplyDeletehmm seems to be the start of change for Chevrolet PH. End of 888
ReplyDeletegosh imagine if MG decides to release the Hector here as well heheh :P
ReplyDeleteUnlikely to happen as MG India won't export it in other countries
DeleteMay chevrolet pa pala..?
ReplyDeleteVery good prices and specs
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Chevrolet Philippines
Looking forward to the Aveo and Groove next
Wuing Baojun vehicles are well-known for being affordable and reliable
Very good pricing for the LTZ variant, may this unit help resurrect the bow tie badge in the country. The improvement in aftersales services and availability of parts will be the main foundation for this brand though. Good luck and more power Chevrolet!
ReplyDeleteSo where is the all-new Captiva sourced from for the PH market? I know it is a rebadged Baojun 530 and it's manufactured in China, India and Indonesia.
ReplyDeleteGood that they will be re-introducing Captiva, i hope it will not disappear again in the market in the same manner other product line suddenly disappear
ReplyDeleteSo many bad memories with the captiva. They should just bury the name for good.
ReplyDeletewait 1-2 years and chevrolet PH will cancel this nameplate again
ReplyDeleteSales of Captiva in Middle Eastern and Latin American markets are good so I doubt they'll do that
