Here Are The Variants, Specs Of The New Geely Coolray For The Philippines

The country’s new Geely distributor, Geely Automobile International Corporation (GAIC), has released the full specs, prices, and colors of the new 2025 Coolray.

The new Coolray (codenamed SX11-A3) comes in three variants:
  • Coolray Comfort Plus – P 1,099,000
  • Coolray Premium Plus – P 1,199,000
  • Coolray Sport Plus – P 1,299,000
There are five colors available: Voltaic Teal, Fireblast Red, Bolt White, Blur Gray, and Purple Prism. Purple Prism commands a P 50,000 premium (SRP: P 1,349,000).

Regardless of variant, the Coolray swaps out its 3-cylinder engine in favor of a new NordThor 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine helping it make 174 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. Power is routed through a 7-speed wet-type dual clutch with four drive modes. 0 to 100 km/h is dispatched in just 7.6 seconds. A new idle start-stop system also helps reduce fuel consumption, bumping the efficiency up to 17.24 km/L.

The BMA platform, meanwhile, has been enhanced for improved stability and ride.

Design features of the 2025 Coolray include a larger, more aggressive grille and air inlet, “Energy Matrix” LED headlights, and Tomahawk-style 18-inch alloy wheels with sport calipers. At the back, it gets new angular LED taillights joined by a full-width lightbar. The tailgate’s also been changed with a new position for the number plate. Red accents, a rear spoiler, diffuser, and quad tailpipes complete the changes.

Inside, it has a leather-clad multi-function steering wheel, a shift-by-wire gear selector, wireless charger, rhythmic ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and a monolithic-style gauge cluster that combines a 10.25-inch display for the driver and a 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen for infotainment. It will be the first Geely model to offer standard Apple CarPlay (still no Android Auto though).

In terms of safety, the 2025 Coolray is equipped with blind spot detection, automated parking assist (parallel and perpendicular), a 540-degree HD panoramic display system that doubles as a 4-way HD digital video recorder, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

    1. ADAS like AEB and other things aren't important
as It'll only make the Coolray Sport Plus priced at 1.5 Million Pesos if they add those worthless features
Geely focused more on improving the engine, interior, exterior and transmission of the vehicle without additional cost

    2. There are Useless feature that owners turn off most of the time. I'm sure even you if urs have ADAS.
The features GCR has is intelligent enough to help the driver, and still feel in control. Me ADAS ka nga la ka nman built in DASHCAM na 540 degrees.

  2. The power, features and other specs are decent for the price but the exterior and looks turns me off. It would have been better off if they also changed the old body, not merely updated.

  3. Adas is important, and im sure pricing is not the issue. GAC emzoom has adas, premium interior/exterior and still priced lower. Even most of hondas released this day has honda sensing/adas, heck even the city has it.

    1. ADAS is most of the time worthless especially at rainy day, foggy day and night time
Honda Brio doesn't have ADAS,additional 4 airbags nor traction control
Sales of New Geely Coolray is much better than the vanilla Honda City Hatchback.
Sales of the GAC Emzoom R Sport slowed down a lot due to people hate its doors, disliked the low ground clearance of it and the fad died down..Base and mid level variants of Emzoom are bare (only got two airbags) compared to the 6 airbags standard on all variants of the New Coolray

  4. ADAS is crap..
Its a feature that most drivers turn off in their cars bcoz it removes the natural instinct and alertness of the driver in emergency situations.
I myself disable the lane keep departure warning coz its so freakin annoying.

  5. New Geely Coolray already sold more units than Dongfeng Aeolus Mage and BAIC X55 Verve despite both being bigger and got more complete safety features
Geely Coolray buyers and owners don't care that much about AEB and other ADAS safety features

  6. Off to a good start but lost its steam... Probably because people realized the casa's service was crap and they had no choice but to stick with them since parts are hard to find

  7. The copium about ADAS being left out is strong down here. I don't care if people use it or not, I want it to be there when they do need it. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

    1. Adding too much unnecessary ADAS in it would make it very expensive
Nobody would buy a Geely Coolray Sport with ADAS at 1.5 Million Pesos or more

    2. Average ADAS cost 50k

    3. ADAS of Geely is much more expensive
You can't install it easily there kaya wag masyadong assuming at demanding kung hindi ka naman bibili
If you want a Geely Coolray with ADAS then buy a high end variant of the Lynk and Co 06 priced at 1.6 Million Pesos
