Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) has announced the appointment of a new president: Jiho Son. Mr. Son replaces Dongwook Lee who has served as HMPH’s president since the brand’s inauguration in June 2022.
Before his assignment as HMPH president, Mr. Son most recently served as the Head of Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) Sales Innovation Group. Prior to his service in Singapore, he also led the India and Asia-Pacific Sales Support Team.
HMPH, through its Managing Director, Cecil Capacete expresses their deepest gratitude to Mr. Lee. Under his guidance, HMPH has achieved 32.4 percent growth thus far into 2024, expanded its dealer network to 34 locations, with more coming in the next months.
Moreover, under Mr. Lee’s management, the brand also launched a variety of vehicles and executed several experiential events all of which helped establish the brand’s image as a trusted and cutting-edge automotive brand in the country.
