  1. Obviously clearing their inventory of slow or non-moving models. Judging from the list, I think it's safe to assume that most if not all their EV offerings aren't selling that well. I'm pretty sure it's the same case with BMW, Audi and other premium brands in the country.

    1. Sales of Audi and BMW EVs locally are much better than Mercedes Benz

    2. Agree. There are a lot more affordable EVs right now. Plus, there are no clear cut advantages of luxury EVs over more affordable EVs except the brand name.

    3. Plus, their pricing strategy have always been always been higher, which I can only assume come from high margins as well. This is why they can discount such amounts.

You can actually get an EQE 500 SUV for under 5M from an EV dealer but they're selling an EQE 350 SUV for 6.7M already discounted.

  3. Zeekr is a brand the luxury car brand market should watch. It’s got air suspension, advance driving assist, double wishbone suspension to name a few. It’s co developed with Volvo and Lotus

  5. I lost almost P2M on a brand new MB after only 7 days use due to a myriad of obvious defects which MB won’t acknowledge. They kept on fighting the decision of DTI in my favor to return my money for almost 4 years until I was forced to sell it for half the price as it was going nowhere with DTI. 7 days of miserable use.
