PIMS: Ever Wondered What Would Happen If Isuzu Gave The mu-X The VIP Treatment?

Isuzu Philippines didn’t just show off its N-Series EV at Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), they also showed what would happen if the mu-X got the “VIP” treatment.

Destined to be a one-of-one mu-X, the mu-X Executive Edition starts off as a mu-X LS-E—from there, Isuzu decked it out in 20-inch Black Rhino wheels wrapped in Nitto S City tires.

Though the exterior changes are, as a whole, quite tame, inside, it’s the opposite.

First up, Isuzu ripped out the monotone black interior and replaced the top part with eye-catching red. The same red dyed cowhide makes its way onto the steering wheel, seats, door cards, knee bolsters, and even the armrest console lid.

If that’s enough, the second-row bench seats have been removed in favor of custom “VIP seats.” These seats are something you see straight out of a Rolls-Royce Cullinan in that it offers power recline, leg rests, and even massaging function. Heck, they even come with removal head pillows (stitched with the mu-X logo, naturally). Ambient lighting and additional charging ports complete the changes.

No word if Isuzu Philippines will offer the Executive Edition as a package to the mu-X, but if you want to customize your Isuzu mid-sized SUV, you can certainly use this as inspiration.

Check it out in the metal until tomorrow, October 26 at PIMS happening at the World Trade Center.

  1. the custom seats is fine. It's the red leather that's throwing me off. But to each their own I guess
