PIMS: Jetour T2 Muscles Up With The New Terminator Variant. Yours For P 2.898M

Jetour Auto Philippines didn’t just bring in their X50 5-seater crossover to the Philippine International Motor Show. On the other side of the size spectrum, they brought in a new variant of their hit, the T2 4x4 SUV known as the T2 Terminator.

Hold those Arnold Schwarzenegger jokes because the T2 Terminator does feature a beefed up exterior that now matches the SUV’s capabilities.

Both the Executive and Outdoor versions come with a unique “Terminator” grille, “Terminator” LED headlights, touch-activated four-eye LED roof lighting, and front bumper-mounted 20-watt 1,500 lumen LEDs. At the side, it has additional side protectors, and at the back, a rear spoiler. Both versions also gain a rear 45-liter luggage case, side ladder, and tail lamp covers. Capping off the changes are forged 20-inch rims wrapped in 275/55R20 Nitto Terra Grappler tires.

Differentiating the two versions are basically the hood shield and high-gloss black accents (including the wheels) for the Outdoor version and silver accents (including the wheels) for the Executive.

Underneath, the T2 Terminator shares the same engine found in the T2 4x4—the 2.0-liter Kunpeng turbocharged direct injected gasoline mated to a 7-speed DCT. All in all, it makes 251 horsepower and 390 Nm. Managing the four-wheel-drive system is the XWD Intelligent 4WD system, while the smart cockpit is governed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset highlighted by the 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and the 15.6-inch central control large screen.

Both the Jetour T2 Terminator Outdoor and Executive editions are priced at P 2,898,000. It comes with a 6-year bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 10-year or 1-million kilometer engine warranty.
