PIMS: The P888K X50 Is Jetour Auto Philippines' Smallest Crossover Yet

Jetour Auto Philippines is entering the compact crossover segment with the X50—one of the country’s most crowded and most competitive segments.

With an overall length stretching just 4,397 mm long, width of 1,841 mm, and a height of 1,654 mm, the X50 is positioned directly against the likes of the Honda HR-V and Mitsubishi Xforce, size-wise. Yet, it is priced like a segment below thanks to its three-variant tiering:
  • Jetour X50 Journey – P 888,000
  • Jetour X50 Travel – P 988,000
  • Jetour X50 Sport – P 1,088,000
In terms of styling, the most eye-catching detail of the X50 is its “Baleen” grille flanked by Eagle Eye LED headlights. Other exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels and a sunroof.

Inside, it comes packed with tech including a pair of 10.25-inch screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has leather seating, push-button start-stop, automatic climate control with rear vents, and a 360-degree camera.

Powering the Jetour X50 is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine making 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. This is mated to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic. Unique in its class, it also rides on all-around independent suspension with MacPherson Struts at the front and Multi-Links at the back.

Retail sales of the X50 starts in November when stocks of the crossover arrive at all authorized Jetour Auto dealerships.

  1. Its based on the already phased out Soueast DX3 and DX5 SUVs
Jetour recycled and revived it as part of Jetour taking over all of the assets of Soueast Motors as the plant will be used to produce Jetour Dashing,T2 and other SUVs of the brand
