Ford Confirms Ranger Super Duty. Coming In 2026


The Ford Ranger may still not be enough truck for those who need next-level work capability. This is where the 2026 Ranger Super Duty will come in.

The Ford Ranger Super Duty will be ready to serve the brand’s toughest customers by delivering metrics that no other pickup in its class can do.

It has been engineered and designed to deliver the higher levels of Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), Gross Combined Mass (GCM), towing and enhanced off-road capability required by those who need it.

Some key confirmed specs of the Ranger Super Duty include:
  • 4,500-kilogram maximum braked towing capacity
  • 4,500-kilogram Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM)
  • 8,000-kilogram Gross Combined Mass (GCM)
The Ranger Super Duty was developed by Ford’s IMG Product Development team, led by a 1,500-strong group of designers, engineers and specialists in Australia, and will be manufactured in Thailand.
