Hyundai’s hot compact, the Elantra N, just got hotter with the introduction of the new Elantra N TCR Edition. The Elantra N TCR Edition embodies the DNA of Hyundai Motorsports and is designed to boost “N-thusiasm” for those who love driving.
Based on Touring Car Racing (TCR), the Elantra N TCR Edition comes decked in multiple performance parts. For example, it comes with a lightweight Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler, which is adjustable to provide optimal downforce settings for various driving conditions and preferences. It also comes with 19-inch N TCR forged wheels and N Performance four-piston brakes.
Inside, the Elantra N TCR Edition comes with TCR Edition decals (select markets only), an Alcantara steering wheel with a Performance Blue top marker, Performance Blue seat belts and exclusive TCR Edition badging.
Under the hood, the Elantra N TCR Edition comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 276 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque. Driving the front wheels, 0 to 100 km/h takes as little as 5.3 seconds when packaged with the 8-speed dual clutch automatic.
The Elantra N TCR Edition will roll out first in South Korea with plans to introduce it gradually to more markets worldwide. No word whether the Philippines will be receiving this special edition model.
