Nissan Philippines kicks off a year-long celebration of 55 years in the country with Unstoppable at 55, a two-day event held last November 23-24, 2024, at the Venice Piazza, Grand Canal Mall in Taguig City. The event, which showcases Nissan’s rich history and unwavering commitment to innovation, opened with Nissan’s new tagline, Always Daring, first debuted earlier this year at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
The event reflects the spirit of Always Daring, capturing the brand’s bold journey and its drive to bring cutting-edge vehicles and services to the Philippine market.
Day 1’s highlight was a panel discussion with passionate Nissan owners Raena Abella and Dexter Lim. Sharing their personal experiences with Nissan, they highlighted how the brand has become an integral part of their lives. They were joined on stage by President Yasuhisa Masuda, who expressed the significance of these connections.
Another thrilling moment came with the unveiling of the Nismo Capsule Collection—a collaboration with the local design lab, SNK ATK. This exclusive collection features six unique clothing pieces, blending fashion with the unmistakable design elements of Nissan’s Motorsport division, Nismo.
Nissan also honored its dedicated car clubs for their passion and loyalty, recognizing their essential role in the brand’s growth in the Philippines. These communities have truly helped shape Nissan’s success story locally.
On Day 2, the celebration opened to the public, inviting everyone to experience Nissan’s legacy firsthand. Guests enjoyed a range of interactive activities, including raffle segments with exclusive Nissan merchandise up for grabs.
The Nissan Heritage Display took center stage, offering a nostalgic journey through the brand’s iconic models. Attendees marveled at classic vehicles like the legendary Fairlady Z and R32 Skyline GT-R, alongside the latest Nissan Z and Z Nismo. Each car represented a different era, evoking admiration, and excitement from the crowd.
President Yasuhisa Masuda shared his excitement for the future, saying, “For 55 years, Nissan has always been a part of the Filipino journey, providing iconic, reliable vehicles. We thank everyone who has supported the brand and look forward to celebrating the next 55 years with them.”
