After what was a relatively quiet 2024, exclusive Philippine Subaru distributor, Motor Image Pilipinas, has announced an expansion to its dealer network. The company has appointed Elite Motors Commercial, Inc. (EMCI) as its authorized dealer in Pampanga. The move strengthens Subaru’s presence in Northern Luzon providing not just in terms of sales, but more importantly, service, to Subaru customers in the area.
The dealership set is set to open in Angeles City by the middle of February 2025. The new dealership will be a complete 3S (sales, service, spare parts) facility with a five-car showroom and five service bays.
“As we complete our preparations, the relocation underscores our dedication on meeting the evolving needs and interests of our existing and potential customers. Our brand expansion with Motor Image Pilipinas will extend our product line-up to our customers while maintaining our thrust to provide them reliable products and services. EMCI was founded in 2022 and has been in the premium motorcycle business in the Northern part of the country. They are also one of the emerging conglomerates in the north with various interests in retail and real estate. The President of EMCI, Mr. Edward Canonizado, has also been in the premium automotive aftermarket industry. His wife and business partner, Ms. Sonia Canonizado is an expert in product management, spearheading Addessa which became one of the Top 10 major suppliers in the market. Their hands-on approach makes Elite Motors’ dynamics effective in providing exemplary customer service & retail.

Before its official inauguration, MIPI and EMCI will hold a series of road shows in the region. This includes a service caravan for Subaru customers at the Marquee Mall in Angeles, Pampanga on November 24 to 30, 2024 and a mall display at SM City Clark Pampanga at Manuel A. Roxas Hwy, Clark Freeport, Angeles, Pampanga on December 01 to 31, 2024.
