Ahead of its global launch on November 11, Suzuki has revealed all the details of the new 2025 Dzire. The sub-B segment sedan has been extensively refreshed both inside and out, and comes with first-segment features.
Design-wise, the 2025 Dzire packs an entirely new front-end with a large grille with a high-gloss black stripe at the top and horizontal slats below it. Sandwiching it are slim LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. Over to the side, it receives two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels, while at the back are new taillights with a Y-shaped graphic.
Dimensionally, the Dzire is largely the same as its predecessor but it is slightly taller by 10 mm. (Overall length: 3,995 mm, overall width: 1,735 mm, and 1,525 mm in height). Wheelbase is at 2,450 mm and ground clearance is 163 mm.
Inside, the new Dzire borrows its dashboard largely from the all-new Swift. However, it gets a more “luxurious” look with beige fabric and faux wood paneling. Over at the center is a 9-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Though it keeps a traditional analog instrument cluster, it does get a wireless charger, an Arkamys speaker system, as well as a segment-first sunroof. It also receives rear AC vents with USB charging points.
Underneath, the 2025 Dzire is powered by a Z12E engine. This 3-cylinder engine produces 82 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. An idle start-stop system is standard. Transmission options remain a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual (AMT).
Safety-wise, the Dzire now features 6 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, and reverse parking sensors.
It looks way better now. Minus a single cylinder, does this mean that daihatsu's 1.2 3 cylinder is better than the dzire's previous engine the 1.2 4 cylinder hence the new 3 cylinder of 2025 dzire?
ReplyDelete1.2 liter engines of Suzuki are miles better than the underpowered and unrefined gas engines of Daihatsu Indonesia
DeleteJust asking about the use of 3 cylinder vs. the previous dzire's 4 cylinder. Why suzuki is using 3 cylinder now? Is there something wrong with its 4 cylinder before? That's just how i make the daihatsu's same 1.2 3 cylinder a reference. I'm not talking about quality if that's what you're pointing out.
DeleteGorgeous view from the front and rear. Side view, looks distortedly pressed short.
ReplyDeleteRead somewhere that it has to do with some indian restrictions idk exactly but something like that.. same goes with the brio amaze in india.
DeleteIncreasing the length of it to 4100mm or more would make it ineligible for tax exemption in India
DeleteIndian government taxes vehicles above 4000mm or more in length as they've been encouraging car manufacturers to only sell smaller affordable vehicles
Looks good but the engine is dumbed down
ReplyDeleteIt'll likely be very expensive when it becomes available in the Philippine market next year or so
I like the crossover-like ground clearance. Very 3rd world-ey.
ReplyDeleteNo such thing as a third world.. google is ur friend.
DeleteDon't be a smartass. You know what I mean.
DeleteHonda has also announced a new Amaze......Labanan na yan...sa India ._.
