Hyundai Motor PH Donates Additional 2 Units Of H-100 To DSWD

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) turned over two additional H-100 units to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-NCR) Field Office. These vehicles mark a total of four H-100 units donated by HMPH to DSWD, and will help support DSWD’s relief response operations, especially given the Philippines’ susceptibility to natural disasters. The ceremony, held at the DSWD Sanctuary Center, Mandaluyong City, is a testament to the brand’s commitment to providing mobility solutions to all Filipinos.

In 2023, HMPH made a contribution through its first donation of two H-100 units to the DSWD-NCR Field Office. These vehicles have thus far been highly utilized, playing a vital role in enhancing DSWD’s operational capabilities, enabling the timely delivery of emergency goods and services as part of their disaster response mandate for affected communities.

Mr. Jiho Son, HMPH President, Mr. Cecil Capacete, HMPH Managing Director, Mr. Hongshik Chin, HMPH Chief Finance Officer graced the ceremony. As well as Atty. Michael Joseph Lorico, DSWD Regional Director, Mr. Benchie Gonzales, DSWD Assistant Regional Director for Administration, and Dir. Bienvenido Jr. Barbosa, DSWD Assistant Regional Director for Operation.

“Last year, we donated two H-100 units to support DSWD’s disaster response and management and outreach operations. And today, we continue to show our support through the additional units we will be handing over. This donation not only fortifies our partnership, but especially Hyundai Motor’s journey towards its vision, ‘Progress for Humanity’,” said HMPH President, Mr. Jiho Son, in his special message. “We are honored to be in partnership with DSWD who continuously aims to uplift the lives of Filipinos.”
