2025 Jaecoo EJ6 Now Available In The Philippines

After starting retail sales of the Omoda C5 and E5, the next vehicle set to be launched by Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines looks to be the boxy all-electric Jaecoo EJ6. In fact, as fledging O&J dealers have them already in stock, its specs and prices have already been (quietly) announced.

Known also as the Jaecoo J6 or Chery iCar 03 elsewhere, the EJ6 will come locally in the dual motor configuration first. The EJ6 AWD has a combined 278 horsepower (95 at the front, 184 at the back) and 385 Nm of torque. Top speed? 150 km/h thanks to a single-speed transmission.

Supplying power to these electric motors is a 69.77-kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery supplied by CATL. Jaecoo says it’ll go up to 421 kilometers on a full charge (NEDC driving cycle). Its combined driving cycle consumption though is set at 5.12 kilometers per kWh. Charging can be done in as little as 30 minutes using a DC fast charger, while using a 6.6-kWh wall box charger takes it up to 12.5 hours. Charging is done using a CCS Type 2 port.

The Jaecoo EJ6 measures in at 4,342 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,741 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. Ground clearance is around 170 mm thanks in part to 245/55R19 wheels and tires. Despite its modest clearance, the EJ6 is built as a lifestyle off-roader and for that, it has a 32-degree approach (30 degree when laden) and 34-degree departure (31 degrees when laden). It can even ford through water 600 mm deep.

Riding on Chery’s i-MS platform, the EJ6 features independent suspension and disc brakes on both ends. It also comes complete with a long list of advanced driver assist features including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and blind spot detection.

Prices for the EJ6 is said to start at P 1,849,000 for this dual motor all-wheel drive version with the rear-wheel drive model priced at P 1,699,000.
