Motor Image Brings Back Subaru STI Package For Its Models; GT Edition Set To Be Discontinued

Motor Image is set to discontinue its long-standing GT Edition package for real-deal STI ones starting this 2025. Headlining its participation at the Singapore Motorshow 2025 is a trio of vehicles all decked out in STI aero parts—the Forester, WRX, and Subaru BRZ.

Originally established to spearhead Subaru’s motorsport activities, Subaru Technica International or STI is now a symbol of the six-star brand’s dedication to precision engineering.

Built for adventures, the Forester now fuses its spirit of adventure with eye-catching looks and capability. The Forester STI Package Edition arrives in the Southeast Asian with the following exterior and interior enhancements:
  • STI Front Under Spoiler
  • STI Front Grille
  • STI Front Side Under Spoiler
  • STI Side Under Spoiler & Door Garnish
  • STI Rear Side Under Spoiler
  • 19-inch STI Performance Rims (Optional: 18-inch)
  • STI Tail Gate Garnish
  • STI Door Visor with Chrome
  • STI Push Engine Switch
  • STI Shift Knob Leather
  • STI Sport Pedal
  • Welcome Light

For those who want uncompromising sportiness, there’s also the Subaru BRZ STI Package Edition and Subaru WRX STI Package Edition.

The former, which was shown as a concept last year, now arrives in production trim. It brings the following enhancements to the two-door sports coupe:
  • STI Front Under Spoiler
  • STI Side Under Spoiler
  • STI Rear Under Spoiler
  • STI Front Fender Garnish
  • STI Skirt Lip
  • 18-inch STI Performance Rims
  • STI Rear Bumper Diffuser
  • STI Dry Carbon Rear Spoiler
Meanwhile, the WRX STI Package Edition is the first look at the upcoming aesthetic enhancement package to the legendary sports sedan. Set to arrive sometime this year, the WRX STI Package Edition adds:
  • STI Front Under Spoiler
  • STI Side Under Spoiler
  • STI Rear Under Spoiler
  • STI Rear Under Diffuser
  • STI Front Grille
  • 19-inch STI Performance Rims

    1. Ever since its establishment, Subaru has been manufacturing cars that are only fitted with boxer engines, although Subaru attempted to develop a boxer diesel engine in the past for example.
