Porsche Philippines Greets 2025 With New Taycan

Porsche starts 2025 with the launch of the the new all-electric Taycan. Leading the line-up is the new Taycan Turbo S which comes with a staggering output of 952 horsepower and 1,110 Nm of torque.

“We ushered in electromobility in the Philippines with the introduction of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S at the end of 2020. The fully electric sports car immediately set the benchmark in performance and luxury that is yet to be matched in the electric vehicle segment. We are continuing this spearheading success story with the new Taycan Turbo S,” says Roberto Coyiuto III, President and CEO of Porsche Philippines.

The power increase on the Taycan Turbo S allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds. A new push-to-pass button unleashes full power for 10 seconds to further boost acceleration. And to take advantage of its substantial power, it comes with an adaptive two-chamber air suspension system.

The Taycan Turbo S aside, the rest of the Taycan models receive significant enhancements to offer a longer driving range, quicker acceleration, and shorter battery charging times. In addition, the designs have also been sharpened too.

The 2025 Taycan models receive refreshed styling at both ends, with the Taycan Turbo S having unique vents and aerodynamic elements. The headlights, now edgier, feature high-resolution HD matrix technology and Porsche’s characteristic four-point graphic. At the back, the fenders have been reshaped to emphasize its width and the three-dimensional Porsche logo is now located in the light strip. Everything’s capped off with a new range of wheel designs.

Inside, the Taycan models offer the latest generation Porsche Driver Experience system. The instrument cluster, central display, and passenger display all have improved user interface and offer additional functions such as a choice between six views on the instrument cluster. The central display can be configured according to preference, with widgets that can be moved around. Both Apple CarPlay and Android also offer enhanced integration.

Equipped with the Performance Battery Plus, the Taycan models now have an increased battery capacity that’s upped to 105-kWh (from 93.4-kWh). Yet, improved charging efficiency means it takes only 18 minutes to fully charge the battery using a 350-kW DC fast charger. Plus, because the new Taycan can recuperate energy more efficiently—up to 30% better—(recuperating up to 400-kW from 290-kW)—the four-door sportscar can cover up to 630 kilometers for the Taycan Turbo S or 678 kilometers on the Taycan rear-wheel drive model.

The 2025 Taycan range is now available for viewing at Porsche Center Philippines.
