In celebration of the brand’s 16th anniversary in the Philippines, Lexus is bringing in the Lexus Electrified Sport Concept. It will be on display at Lexus Manila from January 17 to 19 and Lexus Mitsukoshi from January 24 to 26.
Lexus is no stranger to electrified vehicles with the widest range of self-charging premium hybrid vehicles in the market. It entered into a new chapter with its Lexus Electrified philosophy, encapsulated by the Lexus RZ 450e—a battery electric vehicle developed from the ground up.
As Lexus transitions into a luxury EV brand, the Lexus Electrified Concept presents a preview of things to come. This radically styled coupe was among the 16 Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) revealed by Toyota Motor Corporation president Akio Toyoda in 2021 as he outlined the company’s strategy to achieve carbon neutrality.
It pushes the supercar boundaries as Lexus did with the limited-run LFA. In fact, this new concept is meant to capture the spirit of the legendary model, but for the electrified era. Though a study, it’s grounded in reality and previews a high-performance production model that Lexus is cooking up.
After Toyoda’s keynote, the Lexus Electrified Sport Concept was also shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Now, Filipinos will get to see the Lexus Electrified Sport Concept from January 17 to 19 at Lexus Manila, and January 24 to 26 at Lexus Mitsukoshi BGC.
