Honda Cars Cainta now has one of the largest, most completely equipped Body Repair and Paint (BRP) centers among the Honda Cars dealerships network nationwide.
With a total area of 1,100 square meters, the Honda Cars Cainta BRP center can accommodate as much as six vehicle repairs per day. Their monthly operating capacity can reach up to a hundred vehicles.
Naturally, the average turnout of body/paint repairs depends on the scope of work necessary to be performed. Typically, light repairs without any major tin smithing takes two to three days; with tin smithing/dent works takes just three to five working days. Meanwhile, medium to moderately heavy body/paint works will require seven to 12 working days, while major, heavy-to-severe collision repairs will take 15 to 25 days.
Being one of the dealerships under the Gateway Group, Honda Cars Cainta also serves as the satellite Heavy BRP center for Honda Cars Fairview and Honda Cars Marcos Highway.
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has specifically trained Honda Cars Cainta’s technicians in body and paint repair. This assures that the techniques and materials used to repair Honda vehicles are up to HCPI’s standards, while also utilizing unique skills and innovative technology.
Mr. Ferdinand “Macoy” T. Uy, Honda Cars Cainta General Manager, proudly elaborated their dealership’s best practices for Body Repair and Paint: “Our dealership provides a variety of BP repair services. By providing customers with estimates, we ensure that the essential parts and repairs for their vehicles are appropriate and necessary. We also assist with document processing if their vehicles are insured, and we may provide payment options for individuals who want to pay in cash.”
“Speaking of repairs, we offer full body alignment and this is automated to ensure precise alignment of body or frame parts. The technology itself determines if panels which have been crumpled from collision must be replaced and not repaired to assure customers of their safety after vehicle repair. We place great importance in vehicle safety, which this is the value that customers are paying for,” Uy further emphasized.
“For painting we follow Honda’s environmental direction to contribute zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and that is why we apply water-based paint and appropriate underlying sub-materials. This is also the same spec from the country from which our models are painted and manufactured.”
Apart from using state-of-the-art equipment and materials, Uy also pointed out skill level of Honda Cars Cainta’s technicians: “Our technicians are highly qualified and have honed their repair skills from the rigorous training by HCPI. They also have qualifications on which through time, they have specialized skills or update their knowledge. We also ensure dedicated functions of our technicians in our facility to streamline work procedures during our operations.”
Aside from insurance claims, Honda Cars Cainta encourages walk-in clients who simply want to refresh their Hondas to factory standards. “All customers are welcome to visit our dealership for Body and Paint. We may also have them take a look at our facility if they want to see how we carry out BP repairs. Our Service Advisors may have your accommodated. If such time allows, I can also show you the way!” Uy eagerly offered.
Honda Cars Cainta is located at KM 22 Ortigas Avenue Ext., Barangay San Juan, Cainta, Rizal. It has been a full three-star dealership since its formal inauguration in March 2023.
