Ahead of their second Kia EV Day event, Kia unveiled the EV4’s exterior styling in full. The EV4 sedan and EV4 hatchback are aimed at broadening the appeal of Kia’s EV offerings thanks to its modern design and advanced technologies.
Still rooted in Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy, the EV4 has the distinctive EV Tiger Face complemented by the vertically-oriented headlamps and iconic Star Map lighting.
The EV4 sedan offers a fresh take on the three-box sedan styling. This is seen in the sleek, low nose and long-tail silhouette. It incorporates a unique roof spoiler and machined 19-inch alloy wheels with intricate technical stripes. At the back, the clean bumper design is accented by a technical pattern and vertically-oriented tail light units.
Meanwhile, the EV4 hatchback takes on a contemporary, solid look, defined by its contrasting black vertical C-pillars and crisply executed lines. Robust fenders and machined 19-inch wheels add visual strength and a sense of dynamic energy, while geometric patterns applied to the car’s lower body sections emphasize its innovative nature. At the back, sharply sculpted lines, wide-positioned taillights, and a sloping rear window create a clean, robust look.
And of course, Kia’s coming up with a GT-Line for the EV4 as well. The EV4 GT-Line has a more dynamic flavor thanks to the wing-shaped front and rear bumpers and triangular-motif 19-inch wheels.
Kia will reveal more information on the EV4 as well as the PV5 and Concept EV2 at the 2025 Kia EV Day in Tarragona, Spain. The carmaker is also expected to announce an expanded electrification strategy as well.
