A year (or two) in the making, Omoda & Jaecoo has finally, really, officially launched in the Philippines with three models: the Omoda C5, Omoda E5, and the Jaecoo EJ6. It makes the country the fifth Southeast Asian market for Omoda & Jaecoo.
As part of their launch program, Omoda & Jaecoo is offering decreased pricing for the Omoda C5 and Omoda E5. Buyers who get one and pay a P 10,000 deposit will receive a P 110,000 off on the C5; a P 20,000 deposit equates to P 220,000 off the Omoda E5.
To recall this is how their variants look like:
- Omoda C5 1.5L Lifestyle – P 998,000 (P 898,000 with discount)
- Omoda C5 1.5T Comfort – P 1,159,000 (P 1,059,000 with discount)
- Omoda C5 1.5T Luxury – P 1,279,000 (P 1,179,000 with discount)
- Omoda E5 – P 1,699,000 (P 1,499,000 with discount)
“With the warm reception that the Omoda C5 and Omoda E5 received even before our official launch, we were inspired to roll out a promo for our Filipino buyers. This way, more Filipinos can experience premium automotive innovation firsthand,” shares Mr. Shawn Xu, CEO of Omoda & Jaecoo Global.
Meanwhile, Jaecoo has finally revealed the final SRP of its initial offering, the EJ6. Available in green, black, white, and gray, the EJ6 comes in two variants:
- Jaecoo EJ6 RWD Premium (Black Interior) – P 1,649,000
- Jaecoo EJ6 AWD Premium (Black/Brown Interior) – P 1,799,000
Omoda and Jaecoo models with an internal combustion engine have a 7-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty and a 10-year or 1-million-kilometer engine warranty. Meanwhile, EV models have a 7-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty and an 8-year or 200,000-kilometer battrry [sic] warranty.
Jaecoo also previewed its upcoming hybrid SUV, the J7 SHS which is set to hit local dealerships soon. Engineered with a Super Hybrid System, the J7 SHS boasts extended range, reduced emissions, and top-tier battery safety. The J7 SHS may likely be sourced from the new Malaysian assembly plant.
Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines is targeting to sell 500 units per month within the first trimester, increasing to 1,000 units a month after that. They are planning to open 24 dealerships within 2025 at the following locations: Quezon City, Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Las Piñas, Manila Bay, Marikina, Carmona, Dasmariñas, Ilocos, Calamba, Pampanga, Bulacan, Clark, Tarlac, Zambales, Pangasinan, Isabela, Cagayan de Oro, Bicol, Cagayan, General Santos, Tacloban, Zamboanga, and Palawan.

ReplyDeleteIdk but there's something off with a 2 brand names on a same company, yes phones already are doing it but why? Can't they just make the brand with a sole brand like chery and just make it like chery omoda and chery jaecoo? I mean the badge should be just chery alone, why complicate it?
