Changan is set for a reset of sorts as the Chinese brand will launch a line-up of electrified vehicles at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) this April 10 to 13, 2025 at the World Trade Center.
Leveraging over 160 years of global industrial expertise, 65 of which are dedicated to the automotive industry, Changan Philippines will introduce four new electrified models that are powered by three different New Vehicle Energy (NEV) technologies—Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV), Range Extended Electric (REEV), and Battery Electric (BEV). These four will join the current seven models powered by an internal combustion engine.
Three out of the four upcoming models will sport Changan’s 101 logo which represents the brand’s mid-range electric vehicle line. Globally, Changan 101 occupies the position of “Digital Intelligence Evolution New Vehicle”, leading the brand’s transformation to the era of Digital Intelligence Vehicle where new automotive products that are simple, friendly, intelligent, and futuristic are offered.
The Changan 101 logo integrates the “square” and “circle” in oriental philosophy. The “circle” is inclusive, with natural beauty; while the “square” is the law, symbolizing numerical intelligence and technology. The binary digits “0” and “1” also depict constant evolution and endless innovation. Overall, it continues to resonate with the brand’s values of People-Centricity, Innovation, Openness, and Inclusiveness.
