Share this on:

After previewing it in January, Honda Cars Philippines is set to start retail sales of the refreshed 2025 HR-V on March 9. The HR-V comes in three variants (as we reported before) and starts at P 1,450,000.

The new HR-V packs either a 1.5-liter normally-aspirated or electrified 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. The top-of-the-line RS produces a combined 131 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque, while the non-RS versions, the S and V grades, use the L15 DOHC i-VTEC good for 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. In both cases, the engine is paired to a CVT (E-CVT for the RS e:HEV) with adaptive cruise control.

The HR-V gets a refreshed exterior with the RS e:HEV donning a sporty chrome mesh grille and a sport-type bumper with the “Amp Up” line. The V and RS e:HEV grades also have a hands-free power tailgate with Walk Away feature. Moreover, the V and RS e:HEV grades get Lane Watch as well as rain-sensing wipers, and auto reverse tilt mirrors that aid in better curb and parking visibility. Finally, 18-inch alloy wheels fill in the wheel wells of the V and RS e:HEV variants (17s for the S).

All variants have the ULT seats as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Like before, Honda Sensing is standard, but revised with an improved camera system. All HR-Vs also get Honda Connect integrated built in, while the infotainment features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The V and RS e:HEV grades also get a wireless device charger, while only the RS e:HEV has dual zone climate control.

Honda Cars Philippines is offering the following colors for the new HR-V:
  • Ignite Red Metallic (all variants)
  • Platinum White Pearl (1.5 V CVT and 1.5 S CVT)
  • Premium Opal White Silver Pearl (1.5 RS e:HEV E-CVT and 1.5 V CVT)
  • Meteoroid Gray Metallic (1.5 V CVT and 1.5 S CVT)
  • Crystal Black Pearl (1.5 RS e:HEV E-CVT only)
  • Sand Khaki Pearl (New Color: 1.5 RS e:HEV E-CVT only)
Finally, when it comes to their SRPs, this is how they figure:
  • HR-V 1.5 S – P 1,450,000*
  • HR-V 1.5 V – P 1,519,000*
  • HR-V RS e:HEV – P 1,799,000*
    * Platinum White Pearl and Premium Opal White Silver Pearl command a P 20,000 premium.
All 38 authorized Honda Cars dealers should have the HR-V ready for viewing right now, but in case you need to see it in person, it is going around as part of an e:HEV mall tour on these dates and places:
  • SM Megamall – February 27 to March 5, 2025
  • SM North EDSA – March 7 to 9, 2025
  • Festival Mall – March 14 to 16, 2025
A grand launch is also happening on March 9, 2025 at the SM North EDSA The Block Atrium.

    1. Regarding WRV:
      1) There are current two iterations ng WRV:
      a. WRV na made in Indonesia and Malaysia (ASEAN variant)
      b. WRV Japan-spec na Made in India (a.k.a. Honda Elevate)

      2) Current both iterations ng WRV are Right Hand Drive only. No word yet if magkakaroon ng Left Hand Drive version.

    2. Isn't it a BR-V that's just chopped off at the back? Surely Honda can easily make it in RHD form.

LHD actually, all WR-V's are currently only produced in RHD versions. Baka wala pang masyadong demand

    1. Well, when the initial information was presented to us by HCPI, they said that both the V and RS variants have power tailgates. Although, now that I see the brochure on their website, you're right. Only the RS has the power tailgate with walkway lock.
