Planning to upgrade and get the best value out of a used Honda vehicle? Existing Honda vehicle owners can how undertake the Honda Certified Plus Program, a car certification program that will give customers looking to sell their Honda vehicle the opportunity to get the most value out of it.

Under the Honda Certified Plus Program, customers can enjoy a 288-point quality inspection, repairs performed by Honda skilled technicians using 100 percent Honda genuine parts and lubricants, issuance of Quality Certification, and eligibility to post the Honda certified vehicle on the Honda Pre-owned Vehicle website, which will be available soon.

The certification process can be accomplished in four steps: Pre-qualification, Inspection, Rectification, and Certification.

Customers looking to sell their Honda vehicles (maximum 10 years vehicle age or 100,000 kilometers total mileage), regardless of irregular or no service visits, may avail themselves of the pre-qualifying assessment. After the inspection, HCPI-trained qualified QCI technicians shall release the inspection result and discuss service recommendations. Once the repairs are completed, the authorized dealer shall update the assessment result and certify the vehicle as a Honda certified vehicle.

There are two (2) types of certifications, depending on the vehicle’s condition:
  • Certified Plus 4-star – up to 5 years (or 50,000 kilometers)
  • Certified Plus 3-star – more than 5 years, but less than 10 years (or 100,000 kilometers)
The Honda Certified Plus Program is available at these participating pilot dealerships:
  • Honda Cars Makati
  • Honda Cars Alabang
  • Honda Cars Quezon City
  • Honda Cars Marcos Highway
  • Honda Cars Fairview
  • Honda Cars Batangas
By establishing the Honda Certified Plus Program, HCPI aims to help existing customers get the best price from selling their Honda vehicle. At the same time, HCPI ensures their new owners experience buying a safe and roadworthy vehicle.
