Mark your calendars: the all-new Nissan Patrol is launching in the Philippines this March 28. It was officially announced by the Japanese carmaker in its social media account as an event invite.
The local launch of the all-new Patrol marks the start of a weekend display (Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30) happening at the South Court of the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati.
Launched in September of last year, the all-new Patrol features a striking new design, an all-new powertrain, and enhanced off-road capability.
The all-new Patrol displays its “Bold Presence” persona with its wider, more pronounced V-motion grille. This commanding feature is paired with sharply sculpted lines and modern lighting elements, including the distinctive new “double-C” lamp design. The full-width rear light bar further accentuates this evolution, maintaining the vehicle’s sense of power and prestige.
Inside, the Patrol’s premium cabin offers a glimpse into Nissan’s commitment to “Solid Dignity.” Emphasizing craftsmanship and user-centric innovation, twin displays dominate the console, while soft materials and carefully integrated components maintain an elegant, clean design.
Each row of seating is also crafted with attention to detail. The all-new Patrol also has improved cabin space, particularly in the first and third rows. Front legroom is up 107 mm, while third row legroom is up 145 mm. Cargo space is also higher than ever, rising by up to 30 percent. The third-row seats are power folding and the tailgate is power-actuated with hands-free tech.
Nissan hasn’t confirmed with powertrain the Philippine-spec Patrol would get, but globally it comes with the most powerful engine fitted to the nameplate to date: a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with 425 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. This produces seven percent more power and 25 percent more torque than the outgoing V8, while also enhancing fuel efficiency (up 24 percent). The base engine is a 3.8-liter normally-aspirated V6 with 316 horsepower and 386 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
The new V6 twin-turbo motor is engineered with several enhancements, including improved throttle response for quicker acceleration, high combustion efficiency to maximize power output, and mirror bore coating to enhance thermal efficiency. The high heat-resistant turbocharger maintains peak performance under demanding conditions, while the scavenger oil pump ensures consistent lubrication on slopes and inclines, delivering reliable performance across all terrains.
In terms of safety tech, the all-new Patrol comes with increased Nissan Intelligent Mobility functions including a 360-degree camera with three new views: Invisible Hood View, Ultra-Wide Front View (170 degrees field of vision), and Rear Zoom View. A new body structure, constructed with increased use of high-strength steel, improves frontal crash and pedestrian protection. A driver’s knee airbag is new to the model, boosting its airbag count to seven.
Just say the price already, Nissan Philippines. I don't get the mystery behind the price.
ReplyDeleteIt's all-new; but gasoline. Seems hard to beat the Toyota Land Cruiser.
ReplyDeleteI dont think diesel or gasoline price difference would matter to anyone buying this type of car
Deleteits election time, could sell well.
ReplyDeletegasoline and diesel consumption not much difference.
ReplyDeletepump price for gasoline and diesel no significant difference also.
What's the direct conversion price from Saudi or UAE?
ReplyDeleteIsnt nissan closing shop already? Just disposing unsold units?
ReplyDeleteNissan won't close down yet
DeleteSales of it are good worldwide except in America
Base engine comes with 316hp but only with 386nm torque. Im no expert but vehicles of this size needs more torque to move. If I'm not mistaken all ppvs offered today have torque than this.
ReplyDeleteThat engine is reliable and powerful enough
