Just a few weeks to the all-new Patrol’s Philippine debut, Nissan Philippines has confirmed a couple of more specs for the local market.
Slated for a Philippine launch on Friday, March 28, and a weekend display to happen immediately after (until Sunday, March 30) at the South Court of the Power Plant Mall in Makati City, Nissan Philippines has confirmed that the all-new luxury SUV will get a twin-turbo direct-injected gas 3.5-liter V6.
Though the carmaker left out the exact power outputs, in global markets, the V6TT – VR35 generates 425 horsepower and 5,600 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm. This is then mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Along with the confirmation of the engine, the all-new Patrol will receive a first-in-its-class Adaptive Air Suspension. This allows the SUV to adjust its ride height—dropping it for easier ingress and egress and high-speed aerodynamics, or increasing it to tackle challenging off-road challenges. Either way, the standard ground clearance stands at an already generous 244 mm.
Style-wise, the Patrol will receive the Double C-shaped headlights and a dual-tone exterior. As for the wheel size, the photos shown by Nissan Philippines suggest it will ride on 20-inch machine cut alloy wheels with 275/60R20 tires. Inside, it will carry a black-and-tan interior with quilted leather accents, again based on the Nissan Philippines photos. Moreover, it’s confirmed to get a rear entertainment system with dual rear displays and a 12-speaker Klipsch premium audio system.
In the area of safety, the all-new Patrol will debut Nissan Pro Pilot for the local market which enhances the Nissan Intelligent Mobility features with steering assist technologies. Acting as a “co-pilot” it assists with the steering, accelerating, and braking.
Aren't they going bankrupt?
ReplyDeletelakas nyan pag may diesel engine. sad to say di na sila naglabas.
ReplyDeleteThose specs look very high-end and I'm afraid Nissan PH will price it higher than LC300, which might turn away potential buyers. On the other hand, people who want more content could pony up more dough to get this one. It will be interesting to find out.
