Hyundai has unveiled the refreshed Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 6 N Line at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025. Building on the design spirit of the World Car of the Year winning vehicle first launched in 2022 (read our review), the new Ioniq 6 is all about refined curves and enhanced proportions for a more balanced silhouette.
Evolving from a single model into a line-up, each model in the Ioniq 6 range expresses its own character while staying true to one vision. Under the evolved design concept of “Pure Flow, Refined,” Hyundai has made its electric streamliner simpler and more progressive than ever.
For the new Ioniq 6, Hyundai focused on connecting the body flow more precisely and naturally. The new elevated hood and extended shape, combined with the shark nose design create a sleek, aero-cutting profile. The black garnish on the lower body extends to the doors, while the prominent rear spoiler has been removed in favor of an extended ducktail spoiler to maintain aerodynamic performance while achieving a smoother, more refined silhouette.
The Ioniq 6’s front and rear design details have been refined, featuring separate slim DRLs and main lamps. Horizontal design elements create a wider stance, while the rear bumper design complements the front with chrome garnish.
Inside, the “Mindful Cocoon” concept is maintained, but with more focused on user experience and comfort. There’s a redesigned steering wheel and enhanced door trim materials for a more premium feel. The center console layout has been refined for improved functionality, and the climate control display has been enlarged to enhance ease of use.
Along with the new Ioniq 6, the first-ever Ioniq 6 N Line adds a bold touch. Highlighting the N Line model’s more dynamic design, the front and rear wing-shaped bumpers feature enhanced details and a more sculptural form. This wing-inspired bumper design, along with a side sill emphasized by a single line, visually lowers the stance.
Additionally, the extensive use of black color at the rear, drawn from the RN22e’s design, contributes to the Ioniq 6 N Line’s sporty proportions. The two-dimensional Parametric Pixel lamp design further emphasizes a digital aesthetic.
Finally, for those seeking performance, Hyundai has confirmed and teased the Ioniq 6 N. Set to be unveiled in July of this year, it’ll join the award-winning Ioniq 5 N in the carmaker’s high-performance EV line-up.
Hyundai Motor Philippines has confirmed that the Ioniq 6 will be launched locally soon.
