AAP and DOT to Host 2018 FIA Sports Conference in Manila
Every year the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) holds the FIA Sport Conference (FIA SC) which is attended by representatives from 245 FIA member organizations in 143 countries. The governing body of four-wheeled motorsports globally, the Paris-based FIA has chosen Manila to host this year’s annual meet.

AAP Condemns Ironman Challenge
Last weekend, a post on Facebook went viral showing a road crash that occurred during the 24-hour, 1,200-kilometer BOSS Ironman Challenge held in Central and Northern Luzon last Saturday. The incident prompted the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP) to warn the public once more about the dangers of illegal road races.

AAP Volunteers to Draft IRR of New Motoring-Related Laws
The Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) is volunteering to help the government draft the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of the new motoring-related laws.
AAP president Gus Lagman offered the motor club’s help after three bills from the House of Representatives and the Senate lapsed into law 30 days after they were submitted to Malacanang for the signature of then President Benigno S. Aquino III.
