Here’s a little-known fact: while Paris has hosted three Olympics, 2024 marked the first time the city hosted a Paralympic Games. As experienced in previous host cities, the Games is often seen as an accelerant in improving the accessibility of people with disabilities. And with a promise of hosting a “Games Wide Open,” Paris put that promise front and center.

Driving the Nürburgring Nordschleife Is An N-thusiast’s Dream Come True
I just crossed one off my bucket list. Just when I thought cruising on Highway 1 in the United States and ploughing through the sand dunes in the Sahara Desert couldn’t be topped, I did this: hot laps on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. And mind you, I wasn’t here on the invitation by some German brand, no; I’m here thanks to, of all car companies, Hyundai. Wait, what?

Going Higher Than Clouds With The Isuzu D-MAX And Overland Kings
I have no penchant for traveling. My family wasn’t well-off enough to have that kind of hobby. The farthest we got was Batangas simply because that’s my mom’s home province. My only sources of traveling were field trips in school, college projects, and now my work.

The Asian Cross Country Rally Is Mitsubishi And Ralliart's Redemption Arc
Mitsubishi has seemingly turned its back on its fans. They stopped racing in World Rally Championship (WRC) and Dakar Rally. They also discontinued the highly revered Lancer Evolution, closed the door on the Eclipse, and even the former flagship Pajero SUV was axed. Personally, I think these calls were all the result of the alliance with Renault and Nissan courtesy of Carlos Ghosn, but that’s for another discussion.

One Off The Bucket List: Driving The 1975 Porsche 911 Turbo
As part of my job, I’m sometimes whisked halfway around the world to sample the newest cars out there. On this occasion, however, it was different. In celebration of 50 years of Turbo, Porsche wasn’t letting me drive some upcoming vehicle or prototype. Instead, they brought out several cars straight from their museum including this 1975 Porsche 911 Turbo.

Inside Porsche's Secret Garage In Kallenberg
Tucked amongst a row of nondescript warehouses lies the greatest facility to Porsche-philes: Porsche’s secret garage. Located somewhere in Kallenberg, this warehouse is where Porsche keeps over 700 iconic vehicles, unique machines, and race cars if they’re not on display at the Porsche Museum just a few kilometers away. Here’s the thing: unlike the Museum which grants entry for around 15 euros, this one isn’t open to the public.

50 Years Of Porsche Turbo: Beyond The Engine
50 years ago, Porsche introduced the Turbo model designation to the 930 generation 911. At the time, when the world faced an oil crisis, Porsche was planning for the future—one that highlighted their technical progress as an automaker while also bridging a direct link between their success on the racetrack and the showroom floor. The resulting 911 Turbo brought with it not just a stronger motor, but also a myriad of upgrades to maximize the potential of the 911 platform. Turbo, in Porsche parlance, is born.

Vinfast Is Too Fast For Its Own Good
Real estate ecosystems aren’t new. You will see developers like Ayala and Megaworld construct micro cities here in the Philippines. They have residential condos, buildings for office spaces, entertainment hubs with restaurants and fast-food joints, and a mall among others. The idea is if you choose to live in their area, you have almost everything you need. Eastwood even has its own church for your spiritual needs.
