Honda is the First Japanese Brand to Win German Car of the Year
Honda’s first battery electric vehicle for Europe, the Honda e, has been named ‘German Car of the Year 2021’ in the country’s prestigious annual Car of the Year Awards, becoming the first vehicle from a Japanese brand to do so. The car also won in the ‘New Energy’ category.

Honda Missed a Golden Opportunity to Name Their First-Ever EV
Listen Honda, I know you’ve spent big marketing money doing some focused group study to come up with the name of your first-ever EV; but “Honda e?” C’mon. I certainly hope that it’s just a place holder for the eventual final production car’s name, because I’m throwing in a suggestion for you. Why not just call it, “E. Honda?”

Honda's First-Ever EV, the Honda e is Cute and Downright Sporty
Honda’s first-ever all-electric vehicle takes one step closer to production. The first-ever Honda e will make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show in a few weeks’ time as a prototype. And like all other Hondas before it, it’ll stay true to the carmaker’s thrust to deliver a fun-to-drive experience even if it doesn’t have a VTEC engine under the hood.
