2023 Mazda MX-5 RF: Long-Term Test Introduction
Remember that owner who gave me access to a 2023 Snowflake White Mazda MX-5 RF late last year? You know, the one with the Terracota interior? Well, I’ve got a confession to make: I’m that bastard. At the time, I felt prudent not to announce it all over the internet primarily because there was a supply shortage of MX-5s. But now that supplies have stabilized (more or less) and wait lists have shortened (more or less), it’s time for me to discuss ownership of the two-seater sportscar.

Here's What I've Learned After Changing My Mazda CX-5's Brake Pads From Stock To Brembo Ceramic
This is outside the usual reporting cycle of our long-term Mazda CX-5 AWD Sport Diesel which is typically done each time it undergoes Preventive Maintenance Service or PMS, but this is a special occasion. It’s special because I happen to change the brake pads, and that’s the focus of this story.

2020 Mazda CX-30 AWD Sport Long-Term Test Wrap-Up
It’s time to say goodbye to our long-term Mazda CX-30 after it joined our garage in July of last year. It’s rather abrupt, we know, but because we haven’t been doing a lot of driving lately, we figured this compact crossover could serve someone else better.

2020 Mazda CX-30 AWD Sport: Long-Term Test Update # 1
Apologies for delays in updates surrounding our long-term Mazda CX-30 AWD Sport. With the lack of driving (blame the community quarantines), we haven’t really racked up the kilometers in our compact crossover.

2020 Mazda CX-30 AWD Sport: Long-Term Test Introduction
Say hello to our newest long-termer: the 2020 Mazda CX-30. With a 2018 CX-5 already in the garage, we figured this fits the bill as our urban runabout, especially at times when luggage carrying isn’t really the top priority. With all other choices at this price range, you could say this was largely an emotional decision.

2019 Mazda CX-5 AWD Diesel: Long-Term Test Update # 1
It’s been a while since you last saw our long-termer Mazda CX-5, so we’ll forgive you if you think we’ve forgotten; don’t worry, we haven’t. Our first update comes four months after we introduced this Sonic Silver Diesel Sport AWD as the newest member of our garage, and we’re happy to report that everything’s a-okay.

2019 Mazda CX-5 Sport D: Long-Term Test Introduction
There are at least half a dozen compact crossovers out there, so why did we end up with the 2019 Mazda CX-5 AWD Sport D as our latest long-term test? The answer is simple really, and it’s all about it being able to offer a more premium experience.

2017 Mazda3 Speed: Long-Term Test Wrap-Up
Mazda Philippines basically put money where their mouth is by letting us drive a 2017 Mazda3 for a year. They likely knew what they were getting: an honest look into Mazda ownership without any pretenses. Now, four hundred twelve days and 7,510 kilometers later, this is our verdict: Mazda, both as a maker of driver-centric vehicles and as a provider of aftersales service for said vehicles has come a long, long way.

2017 Mazda3 Speed: Long Term Test Update # 4
Nine months into this Mazda3 Speed long-term test reveals one glaring thing: we’re just not driving it enough. Juggling seat time with other demo units in our garage, we clocked in just 5,513 kilometers in this Machine Gray-colored hatchback (about 612 kilometers per month). Having said that, time and time again, we’ve always come to prefer driving the Mazda3—it’s the perfect daily driver for those who love driving.

2017 Mazda3 Speed: Long Term Test Update # 3
I wish I could say everything is running like clockwork with my long-term test 2017 Mazda3 Speed, I really do. In truth, six months after taking delivery, the overall experience has still been fairly positive, but it’s not without its share of problems.

2017 Mazda3 Speed: Long-Term Test Update #1
It’s easy to fall in love. The challenge is staying in love. This may sound like a life quote, but it also aptly describes owning a car. Suffice to say, after 1,527 kilometers (or 1,519 kilometers since rolling off the Mazda Makati showroom) I’m happy to report that it’s still all love with the 2017 Mazda3 Speed.

This is the Philippines' First Machine Gray Metallic Mazda3. And It's With Us. (w/ 15 Photos)
UPDATE 1: Machine Gray Metallic finally joins the official palette of colors of the 2017 Mazda3 Speed (6/6).
You’re looking at the first Machine Gray Metallic colored Mazda3 in the country. While we’re no stranger to it, seeing it at Mazda’s Mine Proving Ground last 2016, there’s something about seeing it in the local setting that makes us all giddy.
