Close To 200 Omoda & Jaecoo Units Are In The Philippines
2024 may be ticking down for most car brands, but not for Omoda & Jaecoo. Despite formally launching the brand in April at the Manila International Auto Show, O&J still has no retail sales to show for. And now, they’ve missed their September (and then October) start of retail sales target. Still, you got to hand it to them: they’re not going out with a whimper.

Omoda & Jaecoo Units Have Finally Arrived In The Philippines
Chery’s global automotive brands—Omoda & Jaecoo have official arrived in the Philippines. The first batch of Omoda 5 crossovers have rolled off the port, signaling a major step in the carmaker’s expansion goals. The stage is also set for its flagship showroom to open in Alabang in the fourth quarter along with several other locations nationwide.

2025 Omoda 5 Receives 5-Star ASEAN NCAP Rating
After scoring a five-star rating at the more stringent ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Program) and Euro NCAP, it’s just going to be a formality for the Omoda 5 to score the same at the ASEAN NCAP. Omoda & Jaecoo Delays Philippine Market Launch To 2nd Half 2024
The Philippine launch of the Omoda & Jaecoo brands have been pushed to the second half of 2024. This was revealed during the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) where the most-promising Chinese brand had one of the largest presence (floorspace-wise) at 800 square meters. This marks the second launch move for the brand after first announcing its intention to enter the market in late 2023. It was since moved twice to April 2024 (MIAS), and now to June (at the earliest).
