GAC Motor Cements Itself As Philippines' 2nd Best-Selling Chinese Brand
Astara-backed GAC Motor Philippines is now the second best-selling Chinese car brand thanks to an outstanding year-to-date sales performance this 2024. From January to September, the brand recorded a 106 percent increase in sales compared to the same period last year, with a total of 2,511 units sold.

Ford Motor Company has announced the appointment of Pedro Simoes as managing director, Ford Group Philippines, effective December 1. Pedro is currently marketing, commercial vehicle and fleet director, Ford Middle East. He will succeed Michael “Mike” Breen who will be repatriating back to the US.

Improvements in vehicle supply and continued strong demand has pushed vehicle sales up month-on-month.
