September 2024 New Car Sales Hold Steady As Chinese Brands Take 5.44 Percent Market Share
New vehicle sales remained steady last September, moving a total of 39,542 units. This is a one percent growth compared to the 39,155 units sold in August and a 2.4 percent growth (38,628) compared to September 2023. This is according to the joint report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers, Inc. and the Truck Manufacturers Association (CAMPI-TMA).

GAC Motor Cements Itself As Philippines' 2nd Best-Selling Chinese Brand
Astara-backed GAC Motor Philippines is now the second best-selling Chinese car brand thanks to an outstanding year-to-date sales performance this 2024. From January to September, the brand recorded a 106 percent increase in sales compared to the same period last year, with a total of 2,511 units sold.
