Review: 2019 SsangYong Tivoli Premium Sport
Admittedly, the SsangYong Tivoli was not a looker. When it appeared on my driveway, I nearly missed it, and walked right past. I suppose it did not help that Techno Grey was clearly not my color. Add to that, my first drive out in the little crossover made me eyeroll — the brakes were too soft and sensitive, making the car jerky; and, being only on a 1.6-liter engine, the power was not as responsive as I was used to. Day One—color me unimpressed.

SsangYong Philippines Offers Spare Tire to Replace Mobility Kit on Tivoli and Tivoli XLV
The SsangYong Tivoli is considered to be one of the best-valued crossovers in the market. However, there’s one big surprise that apparently hindered its success, at least based on what some keyboard warriors are saying: the spare tire, or more specifically, the lack of it.

Review: 2018 SsangYong Tivoli XLV ELX 4WD
“The Power to Surprise” is a tagline used by one Korean carmaker and sadly, that’s not SsangYong. See, with the sort of vehicles they’ve been coming up with—well-designed, capable, great value for money, SsangYong’s the carmaker that has every right to use that slogan. Case in point is the 2018 Tivoli XLV, pretty much one of the better small crossovers money can buy today.

Review: 2017 Ford EcoSport Titanium vs SsangYong Tivoli Sport R
When SsangYong launched the Tivoli, the Korean carmaker boldly predicted that buyers will flock to their new crossover from the perennial segment favorite, the Ford EcoSport. A year on, this hasn’t gone to plan as the EcoSport continues to protect its turf while managing to increase its sales in the process. The question beckons: has SsangYong simply bitten more than it can chew? Will the Tivoli be relegated to being kicked to the curb in this sub-compact crossover turf war?

First Drive: 2016 SsangYong Tivoli, Korando, and Rodius
Anyone of a certain age will remember SsangYong. Apart from a name that read like a typo, it was infamous for slapping on a German three-pointed star on its vehicles in the late 1990’s to early 2000’s. It died a natural death, whimpering out of existence as extinct as the animal namesake of one of their nameplates. That is, until now.
