The Jetour T2 Is Your Millennial, Hypebeast Tito
Whenever I hear the word ‘Tito’ I am reminded of the uncles that are older than me. Them, who are only interested in cars with diesel engines because of its ‘hatak,’ asks if a car can reach Baguio, and worships Lacoste as the holy grail of shirts. I have to keep reminding myself that I, at 33, am a tito too. So do a lot who are younger than me.

Review: 2024 BYD Atto 3 Premium
There’s a certain level of expectation when it comes to EVs, particularly on the subjects of price and tech. Thanks largely to the fact that brands that offer all-electric mobility come from either the luxury or premium spaces, EVs are expected to: one, look like spaceships and two, priced like one too. But that’s not the case with China’s BYD. With the Atto 3, they’ve come up with an EV that’s managed to reach price parity with a similarly-priced compact SUV. Of course, this begs the question: is it any good?

Review: 2024 GWM Tank 300
The cars an automaker produces is typically seen as a reflection of their local market’s evolving tastes and preferences. This is why American car brands often produce large, hefty vehicles meant for straightaways, while Europeans tend to favor small, agile vehicles meant for tighter confines. The same goes for Asian models where Koreans still have a wide selection of sedans (very popular over there), while the Japanese have much more compact models on offer.

Review: 2024 Kia Seltos 1.4 Turbo SX
When Kia launched the Seltos nameplate in the Philippines in 2020, there was no doubt they had big aspirations for it; after all, it was going to compete in the fast-growing, and lucrative compact crossover segment. But even after getting the foundations mostly right (it had pretty good levels of mechanical polish), alas, it never found mainstream success due to the sheer number of entrants, all of which offered more standard equipment simply because they were all from mainland China.
