Chevrolet Looks to China for Next-Generation Captiva
As Chevrolet was looking for a replacement to its Daewoo-engineered Captiva crossover, they turned to Baojun, the Mainland China joint-venture between SAIC and GM. The result is that hey got a Baojun 530, changed a few things and voila, here’s the 2019 Captiva. The odd thing is that SAIC’s also going to market the Baojun 530 as the MG Hector. How’s that for a plot twist?

The Mitsubishi Strada Absolute is a Carbon Fiber Clad Ranger Raptor Fighter (w/ 7 Photos)
It looks like Mitsubishi is dead serious about making an ultimate version of its Strada / L200 / Triton pickup truck. Instead of just showing off the L200 Mountain Rescue Concept, which, admittedly looks a bit sissy right now, the Japanese automaker has come up with this: a carbon fiber clad pickup truck called the Strada Absolute (Triton Absolute in Thailand).

Review: 2019 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 GLS CRDi 2WD
This is a perfect example of how competitive the compact crossover segment can be. Had I reviewed the 2019 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 GLS CRDi just a month ago, I would have concluded it to be a practical, well-valued compact SUV. Now though, it’s hard to attach the words, “value for money” to it anymore. Instead of heaping praise to the changes Hyundai’s made with this refresh, now I’m thinking: “Why didn’t make their SUV future-proof?”
