Last August 25 to 28, 2017, off-road aficionados congregated at the Clark Freeport Zone Parade Ground to witness Rainforest Challenge (RFC) Philippines 2017. A scaled-down version of RFC Malaysia, the event was a 4-day multi-discipline off-road competition whose main objective was to identify from a pool of local off-roaders the next Team Philippines members.

Update: Ford Philippines managing director, Bertrand Lessard, just confirmed that the Ford Ranger Raptor is heading to the Philippine market (9/19).

The Baja-conquering Ford F-150 Raptor is getting a sibling, and its name is the Ford Ranger Raptor. In fact, market share-wise, it’s been neck-and-neck with its larger sibling, the Forester.
