Though Toyota dealers have been giving a variety of reasons from the impending increase in new vehicle excise tax to even the weakening of the Peso versus the US Dollar, we have reached out to Toyota Motor Philippines for a definitive answer. The real reason, it seems, is an increase in equipment level.
