Volvo XC60 is Japan's 2017-2018 Car of the Year
In a nail-biting vote-counting ceremony that saw the lead change three times between the Volvo XC60, BMW 5 Series, and Toyota Camry, the Swedish crossover pulled away in the closing moments to poll 294 votes and clinch the 2018 Japan Car of the Year. The XC60 finished some 52 votes clear of the strong finishing 5 Series and 62 ahead of the closest Japanese competitor, Toyota’s Camry.

8 Oras ng Pilipinas Races 800 Kilometers Non-Stop Around Clark Speedway
The Oras ng Pilipinas shattered records when the 2017 edition of the country’s longest endurance race got the green light last December 3. It saw a total of 114 drivers, with 31 cars running on GT Radial SX2 tires, competing in 6 categories take to the starting line making it the biggest grid in its history. In the end, the #6 TRS Formula V1 also set a new milestone by covering 800 kilometers (191 laps) around the Clark International Speedway (CIS) to take the overall win.

First Drive: 2018 Nissan X-Trail 4WD
For the longest time, Nissan didn’t know how to properly position the X-Trail. From trying to be all for the “active and tough” with the angular first- and second-generation models with the plastic front fenders and roof-mounted lights respectively, the current third-generation X-Trail turns a full 180 and goes all curvy and family friendly. And while they’ve stumbled out of the gate initially, especially when it comes to equipment level, they seemed to have rectified that with the 2018 refresh.

Senate, Congress Agree on New Vehicle Excise Tax That's Friendly to Pick-Up Trucks, EVs
