The Drift Xaust Speed Booster Can Unlock Your Car's Full Potential
There’s a hope for us normally-aspirated folks, after all. Dismissed by those who went full-on turbo, normally-aspirated engines tend to be a harder nut to crack when it comes to extracting performance. And in the case of Subarus, the case is worse still. Apart from the usual intake, headers, and exhaust, there’s not much you can do to liven its performance, until now.

First Drive: 2018 Suzuki Dzire GL+ (w/ Specs, Video)
Blame inflation or the weakening pesos, but nowadays, you can’t get a decent sub-compact sedan for less than P 700,000. You can get a teeny-tiny hatchback for sure, but if TNCs won’t allow you to use it to ferry passengers, imagine how compromised this choice would be for those with families. Now, in a rather surprising move, here comes the 2018 Suzuki Dzire—a sedan that manages to tick all sorts of boxes including a price tag that tops out at P 698,000. This could be the best bargain in the entire Philippine automotive industry.

Stare at it; do you like what you see? Love it or hate it, the 2018 Toyota Yaris is a preview of things to come for the all-new Vios—Toyota’s stalwart and constant best-seller. Riding on the same platform and carrying the same mechanicals, the Yaris is basically the Vios with the rear-end chopped up. For that, it’s a functional Point A to Point B machine. It’s perfectly usable, although it must be said that “fun” isn’t in its vocabulary.
